My name is Candice, and I am an avid animal lover. Throughout my life, I have had a variety of pets, and I have even raised some from infancy. These included baby chicks, bunnies, puppies, and kittens. Interestingly, our family has also cared for snakes, salamanders, turtles, and an Iguana! We even had a horse and a goat. This experience has honed my skills in providing exceptional care for pets. I have dedication, commitment and availability now that allow me to attend to your pets' needs any day of the week, from mornings to evenings, including nights. I do have 3 dogs at home but I also have the basement suite which I can stay with yours if needed. Although I am currently unsure about relocating, it is a consideration depending on circumstances. I am open to traveling around Edmonton. However, I must disclose that I do not possess a driver's license but have no issues with using public transportation, Uber, etc. As a non-smoker and a confident swimmer, I can safely handle a variety of situations when caring for different pets. Despite not having formal professional experience, I bring personal experience to the table. As a 41-year-old mom to three children aged 19, 17, and 3, I have acquired a heightened sense of empathy and responsibility, which I find usefully transferrable when catering to pets. My experience spans a spectrum of pet care duties including but not limited to animal first aid/CPR, administering medication (both oral and injected), caring for senior or special needs animals, providing exercise for high-energy animals, and grooming. I am open to various roles such as drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and doggy daycare. I am comfortable handling all types of pets including cats, dogs, birds, fish, reptiles, rodents, exotic animals, and the likes. If necessary, I am willing to obtain a police check. I am eager to care for your pets as if they were my own and look forward to experiencing their unique personalities!

I’ve had many cats, also have had birds, rabbits, chickens, cows, a horse and goat, reptiles. I currently have 4 dogs and 20 fish.

I’ll be honest and say I do not have any certifications but I have raised and owned almost every pet out there.
