I'm Tammy, a loving and experienced pet caregiver from Rockland. For over 25 years, I've been providing care to various types of pets, from dogs and cats to pigs and even a pony. My experiences have included everyday pet care responsibilities, as well as special situations, such as looking after a cat that had undergone surgery. Presently, I am the trusted caregiver for a client's dog and pig, and am often called upon to make sure their beloved pets get fed when work keeps them from getting home on time. I am available for your pet's needs seven days a week, mornings through evenings. I understand that every pet has individual care requirements and I specialize in providing daily exercise for high-energy pets and administering oral medication. I am also comfortable taking care of senior pets. I am open to dog walking services and am primarily interested in working with dogs. Although I have developed some allergies to cats which prevents me from holding them, I can still comfortably provide feeding if required. And don't worry, neither illnesses nor distance can cause a problem as I own a vehicle and can use it on the job, helping to ensure your pets get their needs met, whenever necessary. I am passionate about animals and dedicated to their well-being. I don't smoke and am capable of swimming, in case some pets enjoy a splash now and then. I am a Canadian Citizen and can communicate proficiently in both English and French. I am more than willing to undergo a police check for your peace of mind and am ready to start immediately. I'm excited to meet your furry family members and give them the care they deserve! I've always loved animals. I lived on a farm as a child, owned many different animals. I've stayed at a friend's home for 2 weeks to care for their animals while they were on a trip. If someone needs me to walk their dog, I'm definitely available and very cautious with them, as if they were my child. I'm presently taking care of a dog and a pig when ever I'm in need, I just go over her house and feed her dog and her pig, I make sure they go outside as well as go out for a walk.

I am currently working with a Rottweiler of 120 lbs . I own a rotti / bermese . My husband owns a boxer / bull dog . My eldest daughter owns a boxer . My youngest owns a shepherd mix . Needless to say To say we love dogs 😊we have always had animals in our home as the children grew up : a house is not a home without them . I have had dogs for any years . Mostly large breed dogs by I have also owned a Toy poodle . I love animals in general but have a soft spot for large breed dogs especially . I am worked in some training and pack integration aswell and working through behaviours . I Am a confident dog owner, walker and care giver with any dog and in Any circumstance . You dog is safe with me . I have done puppy and agility training with my rotti who passed away a few years back to learn how to train my dogs . I did it in Cumberland with a lady named Bev . She was amazing but Doesnt do it anymore . I am also in contact with a behaviour trainer when I need to get more help and to learn when I need to - she used to work out a rescue and boarding for Rottweilers called Keshet kennels that we visited periodically when we went away . They are amazing with their dog rehabilitation . Debbie the owner their had also been a huge help in teaching us many things in helping us help out dogs as many are rescues .
