Ava M.
My name is Ava and I am from Stittsville, Ottawa, ON, CAN. I am a first year university student in the Honors Bachelor of Arts in English Program at Ottawa University with an interest in literature, childcare and history. I hope to pursue a career in Education working with children and deeply value teamwork, responsibility and helping my community. I have worked alongside children of different abilities and ages in the past such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and Down Syndrome in previous positions such as babysitter, apprentice coach, camp counselor, peer mentor and volunteer. I have domestic experience with personal pets as well as those of family and friends including dogs, cats and fish. I graduated from Sacred Heart High School with Honors as an Ontario Scholar and a French Immersion certificate amongst other athletic accomplishments and community involvement. With these previous employment, volunteer and student athletic experiences, I have gained important skills such as environment management, leadership, communication, adaptability, kindness, creativity, responsibility, collaboration and conflict management. These skills and the characteristics that I possess lead me to believe that I would be an ideal candidate for a role within this company community. I want to gain all the experiences that I can have working with people of all ages and abilities to better myself and others, and I believe your facility/organization can help me achieve this.
