Walking friendly dogs is a pleasure for me and I have experience with walking both my own dog (who has passed over the rainbow bridge unfortunately) and also a Labradoodle for some family friends. I enjoy walking and playing with pets and I own two cats of my own that I adore. While house sitting, I have given water to and fed dogs, fed fish, and gathered the mail out of the mailbox (I could also take it off the yard/porch), and did some light house cleaning/maintenance, so I have experience with all of that. As I said earlier, I own cats which means that I feed them and give them water and clean their litter box. I have experience administrating oral medication (liquid), and topical medication (gel), to my cat and with the right pets I’d be willing to try to do the same for you! I have had a couple of jobs, for the same person, that involved house sitting animals, one of the jobs was just a dog and the other was a dog and some fish. When I was house sitting the dog/fish it was for about a week and I fed the fish and walked, fed, played with, and gave water to the dog. The dog in both cases was a Labradoodle and was quite friendly. I understand that you are to give animals space and wait for them to approach you if they seem stand-off-ish as well as trying to create a calm and safe atmosphere for the animals to be around.
