I have cared for animals all my life, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, goats (milking), cows, poultry, rodents, and rabbits. My first job was working for a veterinarian while I was in school before attending university. I have also worked at an Equestrian Center/show facility where we had over 40 horses to care for on site. I am a 4-H dog leader, assisting members with their project dogs in obedience, husbandry, and agility. At home, we have four dogs (Golden Retriever, Australian Shepherd, Shiba Inu, and a Pug X). I have also had two Italian Mastiffs and a rough coat Collie. As a single parent of 20-year-old twins, I prioritize spending time with my family and enjoy activities such as hiking, running, swimming, road cycling, skiing, and gardening.
