Job Title: Part-Time Housekeeper/Nanny Start Date: 01.12.2023 My name is Jessica and I am in the third trimester of my pregnancy. I also have a delightful 19-month old son who attends school from 9am to 3:30pm. I am currently in search of a live-out, part-time housekeeper/nanny to assist with different household tasks and childcare, starting from December 1, 2023. Responsibilities will include: 1. Cleaning the interior of my home and immediate external areas. 2. Kitchen duties such as washing dishes, cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, oven, cupboards, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. 3. Laundry duties including washing and drying clothing and other household items and also doing some ironing. 4. Bed making and linen changing. 5. Taking care of the newborn when the toddler returns from school. Occasionally, I might need you to watch my son while I go out for appointments or dog walks (dependent on if baby will take a bottle). A driver's license is not required for this position. However, there may be times when you would need to pick up my older son from school using our family car which we can provide for usage while on duty. The preferred working schedule is Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 6 pm, giving you 20 hours per week. We are flexible about the hours and tasks depending on the family's needs for any particular day, but we can also guarantee a paid week of 20 hours. I am in search of a part-time housekeeper for regular cleanings either weekly or biweekly, with an engagement of no more than 8 hours per week. Ideally, this individual should be able to work in two 4-hour shifts between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Cleaning tasks include vacuuming and mopping the floors, cleaning the kitchen (countertops, sinks, stoves, and fans included), dusting baseboards throughout the house, taking care of the bathrooms, and wiping down windows, baseboards, and walls. Cleaning materials will be provided. It is to be noted that potential candidates must be alright with working in a home that has a cat and must bring prior experience as a housekeeper. Every applicant is required to provide a minimum of three references and consent to a background check. This job is exclusively open to non-smokers and prohibits any work to be conducted over the weekend. Applicant must have their own vehicle, as house is located in an area where public transportation is unavailable. Candidates must also be comfortable working in a home with surveillance cameras present.
