We are a busy family of two adults and a toddler who are looking for a reliable, proactive family assistant/housekeeper to help in our home several times per week, likely around 3 days per week. We are hoping to find someone who can help keep our home running smoothly and who is comfortable taking initiative rather than needing a detailed task list every visit. This role would include a mix of regular housekeeping, laundry, tidying, organizing, and simple household support. Duties may include: * Regular cleaning of kitchen, bathrooms, floors, and common areas * Laundry, including folding and putting away clothes * Tidying toys, clothes, kitchen items, and shared living spaces * Organizing closets, drawers, cabinets, toys, pantry items, and storage areas * Rotating seasonal clothing * Sorting and putting away clothes our toddler has outgrown * Helping organize garage cabinets or household storage areas * Simple toddler/family meal prep, such as preparing our toddler’s breakfast for the next day, washing and cutting fruit, portioning snacks, packing food for outings, and basic meal prep according to our instructions We have a young child, so the person must be comfortable around children and be kind, patient, trustworthy, and safety-conscious. Occasional babysitting or childcare help may be requested if mutually agreed, but the main role is household help. We understand that not everything can be done every visit. We are looking for someone who can help prioritize regular household tasks while gradually tackling organizing projects over time. Ideal qualities and experience: * Proactive and able to notice what needs doing * Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable * Comfortable working independently * Good judgment with tidying and household organization * Comfortable with toddler-related tasks and simple child meal prep * Trustworthy, patient, and safety-conscious * Previous experience as a housekeeper, nanny-housekeeper, domestic helper, family assistant, household helper, or household manager in a busy family home would be a strong asset * Experience independently managing household routines, laundry, organization, and family support tasks is highly valued Schedule is very flexible, but will be approximately 3 days a week.
