I am currently looking for an experienced and efficient Housekeeper and Pet Caregiver with Filipino or Chinese background preferred. This full-time position is based in Oakville and offers a competitive salary based on your previous experience. You can choose to live-in or live-out, with both options offered. The working schedule is six days a week with flexible hours each day. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out a variety of household tasks from cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the house, to taking care of pets. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent deep cleaning skills, solid home organizational abilities, can handle varying household tasks, and is comfortable providing care for pets. You need to have a valid driver’s license as there will be times you'll be required to perform driving duties. We value trustworthiness, initiative, and strong work ethic. The successful candidate will be capable of maintaining high cleanliness standards, following given instructions, and should be able to manage the house without requiring micro-supervision. In terms of household cleaning duties, these will include daily cleaning of all areas of the house, doing the laundry, managing the wardrobe, maintaining the kitchen, managing waste and ensuring household supplies are adequately stocked. Organization tasks will encompass decluttering spaces, managing storage areas, seasonal wardrobe changes, luggage, and household inventory. Fulfilling pet care role, you will be expected to feed, groom, and take care of our pets. This includes daily walks, cleaning designated pet areas, administering medication, and ensuring the pets have a safe and clean environment. Driving responsibilities may include grocery shopping, picking up supplies, vet visits, and can extend to transporting family members, so a valid driver's license is a must. Additionally, although it's not mandatory, it would be preferred if you could assist in preparing simple, healthy meals for the household, as well as helping with meal preparation and grocery shopping. You should be physically fit and able to perform all cleaning and pet care duties. Having at least 3 years of housekeeping and pet care experience is a must. Lastly, the ability to fully work the Monday to Saturday schedule and excellent communication skills are required. This position will start on the 20th of March 2025 and entails securing and supervising tradesmen and contractors, rotating seasonal clothing, maintaining the pantry, and performing house-sitting duties. It also includes maintaining household security and cleaning outside of appliances. It's required to use your own car in this role and the workload is expected to be around 40 hours per week.
