I am on the lookout for a part-time House Helper who can assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of my home located in North Vancouver. The position is live-out and requires the chosen candidate to work less than 20 hours a week, preferably during the morning and middle of the day on Thursdays. Key responsibilities will include keeping the interior of the home and external areas surrounding the home clean. Duties also extend to kitchen cleaning, including washing dishes, cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Laundry duties include washing, drying clothing and other household items. Ironing is additionally needed. As well as kitchen work, you will also be required to help cook and serve for special events or when we have guests. This role also involves a bit of gardening, as far as plant care for garden and household plants goes. Another duty will include seasonal rotation of clothing in closets, maintaining the pantry, and routinely clearing out of date and spoiled items. Bed making and linen changing are also part of the job responsibilities. Please note that automobile use is not applicable here, and also a driver's license is not required.
