Being a part-time position, it offers a good degree of flexibility while still providing a diverse range of responsibilities. We are a family of two executives, sharing our space part-time with children aged 11 and 15 (two weeks on, two weeks off). We live in an active home, accompanied by three friendly cats, and are committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle with specific dietary needs. This multifaceted role requires a versatile individual who can manage an assortment of tasks with confidence and efficiency. Your responsibilities will entail regular cleaning and maintenance of the house, laundry management, meal preparations taking into account our dietary requirements and child and pet care. We’re also relying on you to run errands such as grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, and such. Occasionally, you may need to prepare our Airbnb suite for guests and ensure that it is a welcoming environment. Requirements for this role include proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role and the possession of excellent organization skills. It is important to us that you are a person of high integrity, trustworthy, and responsible. You need to possess a willingness to accommodate a variable schedule that includes some evenings and weekends. Because this role involves running errands and transporting the children, a requirement is that you have reliable personal transportation and a valid driver's license. Lastly, as effective communication between all parties is vital, we are looking for someone with strong verbal communication skills. Please note that this is a live-out, part-time position with a work-week of less than 20 hours. Being a household role primarily, it will include tasks such as kitchen cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, grocery shopping, pet care, taking care of plants and supervising tradesmen/contractors, among others. We may also need you to occasionally stay overnight when we are both away on business trips or vacations, and we have a wonderful comfortable guest suite with queen bed, TV & ensuite bathroom for your stay.
