This is Room Rental for One person only in exchange for some housecleaning and sorry, no sponsorship available. Schedule Flexible. We are a kind, respectful family of 2 (mother and daughter) looking for a quiet, responsible live in care giver /housekeeper. In exchange for 4 hrs WEEKLY cleaning/helping around house, we will provide reduced rent of a fully furnished bedroom in our home with a semi private bathroom including WIFI and laundry. Rent will be $795 per month. We prefer minimum 3 yrs experience and who speaks English and Tagalog. You can work part/ full time at other jobs and complete these tasks whatever day you have off. It does not have to be Wednesday. We had this arrangement with a caregiver for 6 years and it worked out well for both of us. I am a disabled mid fifties female with a 19 yr old daughter and a friendly cat. I am mostly home. My daughter is active with school and work. No smoking, no coffee in common areas of the house (due to allergies), no overnight guests. The room we offer is very bright, lots of windows on the second floor, with bed, 2 dressers, built in shelving, full closet, desk, nightstand, your own fridge with shared kitchen and laundry. Our neighborhood is very easy to travel by bus/transit as we are 1.5 blocks away from major bus stops at Grand Blvd and East 13th. There is street parking in front of our house. Duties mostly include weekly vacuum, cleaning kitchen, bathrooms, changing linens, some meal prep and other general housekeeping. I h We don't expect to share dinner times everyday or activities together if it doesn’t work out with everyone’s schedule, we’d like to just have a friendly, harmonious living arrangement for all of us. I am seeking help with house cleaning and organization. This includes a variety of responsibilities such as doing laundry, kitchen cleaning - including dishes, cleaning inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors, as well as the exterior areas of my home. In addition to cleaning, I am also looking for someone who would be able to assist with meal preparations and serving. The position starts on the 1st of April, 2025, and it is a part-time position. I am looking for someone who can be available two days a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, for morning, mid-day, and evening work. To clarify, the person is expected to work for less than 20 hours per week. A live-in or live-out housekeeper is welcome to apply, as I am open to both options. I should note that a driver's license is not required for this position and the use of an automobile is not applicable, as the role focuses on tasks within the home and will be conducted through house and apartment cleaning.
