We are a professional couple seeking an experienced, full-time housekeeper/nanny to help maintain the cleanliness of our home and assist in taking care of our newborn baby. This job comes with the primary responsibilities of domestic upkeep, which includes, but is not limited to, cleaning not just the interior of our home but also the areas immediately outside. Your task would be to keep the kitchen and other areas spic and span - this involves washing dishes, cleaning the inside and outside of the fridge, oven, dishwasher, cupboards, and pantry, as well as wiping down countertops and floors. Your roles will extend beyond housekeeping to include other domestic duties such as washing and drying clothing and household items, meal preparation and service, and running some household errands including grocery shopping. You will also be expected to keep household supplies fully stocked, receive and serve guests, and take care of plants in the garden. At times, you may need to perform seasonal tasks such as rotating seasonal clothing in closets, keeping the pantry up to date by removal of expired and spoiled items and house-sitting when necessary. Furthermore, the role prompts for light guest service and hospitality responsibilities, such as receiving guests. Good housekeeping also extends to pet care, so comfort or experience with animals is a requirement. A considerable part of your responsibilities would be maintaining household security, ensuring the external cleanliness of the oven, fridge, dishwasher, and ironing. This role requires a commitment of 30-40 hours per week. The work schedule will mostly cover morning, midday, and evening shifts from Monday to Friday. While a driver's license is not required for this role, the person hired will be expected to adhere strictly to regulations related to household security. If you are not already local to the area, rest assured that live-in arrangements may be negotiated, although a live-out situation is preferred. Paying attention to the fact that part of the job involves caring for a newborn baby, experience in both housekeeping and childcare is paramount. Prior to employment, security checks will be conducted for peace of mind. Salary will be negotiated considering the experience and range of skills. The position is scheduled to start on 01.01.2026.
