I am looking for an experienced housekeeper/nanny for assistance with the upkeep of our home and some childcare duties. This is a Part-Time position of less than 20 hours a week, and preferred start date is immediate. Your responsibilities will be varied and will involve maintaining the interior cleanliness and organization of our house, as well as errand running, and some engagement with our two children. Each week, you will sweep, vacuum and mop the floors, do laundry, organize the closets and kids toys, and ensure the beds are made daily. Kitchen duties will include washing dishes, cleaning the inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Preparing and serving simple meals like chicken and rice is also part of the job description. Apart from this, my person of choice will also be responsible for purchasing groceries, running errands, and taking care of our dog pepper with occasional walks . Occasionally, some light work tasks such as answering phone calls and emails may be required. This role will also require you to spend an hour or two each week engaged in activities with our children, aged five and 12. This could include helping them with studies, assisting with reading, teaching skills like shoe-tying, and participating in games and fun activities. The scope of the role extends beyond the confines of our home, and will require you to use your car for errands or grocery runs. Therefore, a valid driver's license is a must. Work schedule will be on Monday and Friday mornings, and the position is live-out. If you are a responsible, reliable individual with versatile skills and a love for children, I would be very interested in speaking with you about this position. And we'll hopefully be moving within three to four months. We would like the nanny to stay with us for a long-term period until the kids are of a certain age. Deep Clean Requirements: ✔ Full deep clean of bathroom – scrub tub/shower, grout, tiles, toilet, sink, mirrors, baseboards, and floors ✔ Full deep clean of kitchen – stovetop, inside microwave, exterior appliances, countertops, sink, cabinet fronts, backsplash, and floors ✔ Dusting all surfaces ✔ Vacuuming and mopping floors ✔ Wiping doors, light switches, and high-touch areas Most of the space is furnished, so this is not a large open area.
