We are seeking a reliable housekeeper to assist our family of four (2 full time working parents, 2 teenagers-one in University who visits home when she can) in maintaining a clean and organized home. We can be flexible with hours and days of work, typically from Mondays to Fridays during the mornings and during the middle of the day. However, you will not be required to work weekends. This position can be either full-time or part-time, and is based in Lambeth, Ontario. Responsibilities include cleaning the interior of the home and immediate external areas. Kitchen maintenance (dishes, fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, countertops, and floors). Keeping bathrooms tidy and organized. Laundry, as well as grocery shopping and other household errands. Pet care--mainly companionship for our dog-- letting him in and out-- while we are at work, and some maintenance of household plants. Additional housekeeping, including bed making, linen changing, dusting and vacuuming are needed--typically simple tidying during the week but a good clean once a week, whenever it works out best. A driver's license with a safe driving record is desirable for this role. We provide a family van for use. We are looking for someone to start immediately and anticipate the workload to be approximately 30 - 40 hours per week. We can be somewhat flexible around hours, either more or less, depending on the applicants' circumstances, also. Please note, this job is a live-out position.
