I am currently seeking a reliable, hardworking individual committed to a long-term arrangement for a housekeeper position in my home. The role will require you to work 20-30 hours per week, particularly on Monday mornings and Thursday evenings. (Totally negotiable as well, I’m not too set on exact days or times) Key responsibilities include keeping both the interior and immediate exterior areas of the home clean. In the kitchen, this includes doing the dishes, cleaning inside and outside the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, and countertops, as well as the floors. The candidate should also be comfortable with laundry tasks such as washing, drying of clothes plus other household items, while also offering a hand in the preparation of meals (including cooking and serving on special events). As the housekeeper, it's important for you to ensure that household supplies are frequently restocked. This role also involves ironing, bed making, linen changing, and the thorough cleaning of the oven, fridge, and dishwasher exteriors. To help maintain a pleasant living environment, the candidate I am looking for should also be comfortable with pet care, garden and household plant care. Additionally, it will be your responsibility to rotate seasonal clothing in closets, maintain the pantry, and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items. Since a driver's license is required, the housekeeper should be able to use their own car when necessary for various tasks. While the job offers both a live-in or live-out arrangement, please note that this is a part-time position. Preferred start date for the successful candidate is immediately.
