I'm seeking to hire a dedicated, meticulous, and friendly housekeeper, who also has a flair for making Filipino meals. The role would also involve providing adult supervision to my two children aged 8 and 13, and an undying affection for small dogs. The position is available for immediate start. The successful candidate should have a flexible schedule, available to work full or part-time. The working days are from Monday to Saturday morning, encompassing mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights. Availability for 40 - 55 hours a week is expected. Among the key responsibilities, the housekeeper should be able to clean both the inside of the house and immediate outside areas. The position also entails kitchen duties, including washing dishes, cleaning the fridge, cupboards, oven, and dishwasher both inside and out. Laundry duties will comprise of washing and drying clothes and other household items. Food preparation and service is a significant element of this role, especially cooking and serving during special family events or guest visits. Regular grocery shopping and running household errands, as well as keeping a fully stocked pantry, will be part of the job requirements. Since we have pets, pet care experience will be a bonus. Similarly, the knowledge of plant care for both garden and household plants will be appreciated. Securing and supervising tradesmen and contractors when required will be also part of the duties.
