Amanda’s Home – Cleaning Checklist & Expectations Thank you for helping keep my home a clean, comfortable space! This checklist is here to guide you through what I’d love done each visit. I appreciate care, attention to detail, and noticing the “little things” that make a space feel fresh and put-together. General Approach • Treat surfaces, furniture, and belongings gently. • Look for small touches — tidy counters, wipe sticky spots in drawers, clear cups/cans from nightstands. • Step back after each room to ensure it looks neat and organized. • Let me know if you notice something broken, unusual, or needing extra attention. Laundry & Linens • Change bed linens (fresh set provided for every visit). • Hang or fold any clean laundry. Bathroom • Clean sink, toilet (including base), shower/tub. • Polish mirrors until streak-free. • Spray/sanitize & wipe counters and faucet edges. • Sweep & mop floor. Kitchen • Spray/sanitize & wipe counters and sink. • Wipe cupboard handles & stove top. • Clean microwave and air fryer (inside & outside). • Load/unload dishwasher if needed. • Sweep & mop floor. Living Room • Spray/sanitize & wipe tables, shelves, and other surfaces. • Vacuum couch (remove cushions if needed). • Wipe recliner & window sills. • Sweep & mop floor. Bedrooms • Spray/sanitize & wipe all surfaces. • Vacuum floors. • Make beds neatly with mattress covers in place. Back Landing (High Priority) • Sweep & mop thoroughly. • Spray/sanitize & wipe ledges, corners, baseboards. • Remove pet hair & dirt buildup. Basement & Office (Every Other Visit – Extra 2 Hours) • Sweep & mop floors. • Clean basement sink & toilet. • Wipe washer & dryer. • Tidy office and spare rooms. • Wipe bar and poker table. • Dry dust arcade machines & dart board. Details Matter • Spray/sanitize & wipe light switches and handles. • Spray/sanitize & wipe high-traffic baseboards. • Check corners for cobwebs. • Straighten and organize items so spaces feel orderly. Robot Vacuum – Every Visit • Empty dustbin completely. • Wipe sensors and charging contacts. • Clean roller & side brushes. • Wipe wheels. • Remove air filter, tap gently to clean, and leave to dry before reinserting. If you ever see something that could be improved, please feel free to take initiative — I value a cleaner who goes above and beyond. I’m open to better organization systems or ideas that could make tidying faster or easier — if you think of a way to improve flow, let me know! I’m happy to answer questions or adjust the list as we go to make sure the work feels fair and consistent.
