I am a private individual seeking a proficient and dedicated Housekeeper to assist in maintaining my residence. It is highly desired that they hold a valid driver's license given the nature of the job that may entail errands requiring the use of their personal vehicle. This role is open for both full-time and part-time applicants and allows for flexibility in living arrangements, be it live-in or live-out. Given the breadth of tasks at hand, the role demands a work schedule spanning across all hours of Monday, including morning, midday, evening, and even night time at times. The workweek may call for more than 50 hours of work depending on the housekeeping needs at that time. The duties of the Housekeeper would include but would not be limited to performing detailed cleaning of both inside the house and immediate external areas. The kitchen tasks would involve a proactive approach to cleaning the dishes, inside the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Laundry tasks are also part of the job, including washing, drying, and ironing clothing and other household items. The housekeeper is expected to provide meal preparation and service on a regular basis, and even handle cooking and serving tasks during special events for family members or guests. The position involves running household errands like grocery shopping and ensuring the household supplies are fully stocked. On occasion, you will be required to receive and serve guests, care for pets, and tending to both garden and household plants. This role includes supervising tradesmen or contractors, managing the rotation of seasonal clothing in closets, maintaining the pantry, and routinely clearing out of date and spoiled items. The role also calls for the periodic cleaning of the outside of large appliances such as the oven, fridge, and dishwasher. While the primary area of work would be cleaning the house and apartment, you may also be called upon for commercial office cleaning tasks on an exceptional basis.
