We are looking for a reliable Housekeeper to work in our large estate home in Caledon Village. (Close to Brampton and Orangeville) This is a live out position. Workdays & hours may vary with occasional evenings and weekends. Flexibility is required but will average full time hours. Advanced notice of formal functions will be provided. Summer months are typically more active for entertaining than in the Winter. Wage will be negotiated based on experience and accommodations required. Responsibilities will include:  Clean the inside of the home and the immediate external areas (porch, patio, walkways, garden)  Kitchen cleaning- Dishes, cleaning inside and outside of fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters and floors  Clean Outside of Oven, Fridge, and Dishwasher  Laundry (washing, drying clothing and household items)  Ironing  Meal preparation and service  Cooking and serving on special events for family and or guests  Grocery shopping and household errands  Keeping the household supplies fully stocked  Receive & serve guests  Pet care  Plant care (garden and household plants)  Rotate seasonal clothing in closets, maintain pantry and routinely clear out of date and spoiled items.  Bed making, linen changing  Plan/direct special events Additional Job Requirements:  Must have a valid driver's licence, and own vehicle  Good English communication skills (verbal and written). Ability to speak Portuguese will be considered an asset  Minimum of three (3) years similar work experience  Experience in hands-on household work and knowledge of all areas of property cleaning and organizing  Experience with quality cleaning and care for delicate surface, fine art, etc  Have the ability to work under minimal direction with an emphasis on client service/Satisfaction  Have good organizational skills and attention to detail  Ability to anticipate the needs of the employer  Be professional, discreet and always maintain confidentiality  Must be able to provide references and a clean Police Criminal Record Check (PCRC)  Must like dogs  Smoke-Free environment Applicants are encouraged to provide a resume.
