Duties include cleaning, tidying cupboards, all kinds of household chores, cleaning up in kitchen, assisting with cooking and other tasks as needed inside a condo. The ideal candidate must be well-organized, fluent in English, neat and maintain good personal hygiene and punctual . Someone residing close by in Mississauga is preferred with a police verification check . Adaptable to scheduling well their time and helping nature, even-tempered and with a natural kindness to help seniors with patience. You will be required to support us with various tasks including cleaning, laundry, ironing, cleaning, and organizing tasks at home. The position is part-time, requiring 5 hours per week and about 15 -20 hours maximum a month . The work schedule requires availability on Sunday mornings, afternoons or evenings, Saturday mornings, and afternoons, and Friday evenings. Flexibility to work on weekends is a must . Unique responsibilities for this position include cleaning the inside of the home, as well as immediate external areas like the yard or patio. Tasks will also encompass kitchen duties, such as cleaning dishes, inside and outside of the fridge, cupboards, oven, dishwasher, pantry, counters, and floors. Additional responsibilities will include laundry (washing, drying clothing and household items), meal preparation, and service, including cooking and serving on special occasions for family or guests. Running household errands such as grocery shopping with the senior is also a part of the job. If you are an animal lover, this role includes pet care as part of its responsibilities, along with plant care for both garden and household plants. Lastly, you will be expected to assist with maintaining the closets and pantry by rotating seasonal clothing and routinely clearing out expired and spoiled items. Though the job does not specifically require the use of an automobile, a driver's license is a prerogative. The preferred start date for this employment opportunity is 06.04.2025. Please note that while the position does not require you to live-in, we are seeking someone who can easily commute to our place for House & Apartment Cleaning.
