Title: Experienced Part-Time Housekeeper Needed Weekly or Bi-Weekly (to be determined) We are a private household seeking a mature and responsible individual to fulfil the role of a Housekeeper/Household Assistant. The ideal candidate will be someone who has past experience in housekeeping, is fond of dogs, and is comfortable maintaining an eco-friendly home. The role requires working part time, either once weekly or bi-weekly (to be determined) from 9 am to 5 pm. Owning a reliable car and a valid driver's license is a must as the job requires the use of personal transportation to come to work. Responsibilities and Duties: Your tasks will involve: - Monthly prepping and batch cooking meals to freeze for lunches - Receiving and putting away grocery orders when necessary - Laundry duties including washing, drying and putting away clothes and household items. Occasional ironing (very rarely) - Daily house and kitchen cleaning tasks such as dishes, cleaning outsides of fridge, cupboards, oven, microwave, freezer, dishwasher, etc. Vacuuming and washing floors, bathroom cleaning, main areas, laundry room, etc. - Bed making and linen changing for two beds when requested - Assisting in organizing the house and garage - Possible assistance in gardening and plant care during the nice weather, if this is something you are interest in - Helping with miscellaneous tasks around the house such as assisting in setting up patio furniture in the spring, closet and cabinet organization, etc. - Ensuring the household security and cleanliness are maintained at all times - The occasional errand (quick grocery pick-up, drop off or pick up dry-cleaning, etc.) *Please note cleaning will predominantly involve the use of natural products as we aim to limit the use of chemicals and strongly scented products in our home. Preferred Start Date: Immediately Working Schedule: No weekends or evenings Location: The place of work is classified under House & Apartment Cleaning. Position Type: This role is a live-out position and part-time. Automobile Use: As mentioned, use of your own car for transportation to and from work is necessary.
