I’m Kaila, a dedicated and compassionate caregiver originally from the Philippines, now living in Winnipeg. I’m married and a proud mom to a 3-year-old daughter who currently lives back home with our family. Being away from her is one of my biggest motivations to work hard and provide the best care for others, just as I would for my own child. I have experience supporting both children and adults with diverse needs, including my current work at EPIC Opportunities, where I assist individuals with personal care, housekeeping, and daily living activities. I’m passionate about helping people feel safe, valued, and supported—whether it’s through physical care, emotional support, or simply being a calm and kind presence. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, and learning new things that help me grow personally and professionally. I’m known for being patient, reliable, and having a strong work ethic. I have hands-on housekeeping experience through my work at EPIC Opportunities, where maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment is part of daily care. I regularly assist residents with personal care and also handle tasks like cleaning rooms, doing laundry, washing dishes, and keeping common areas tidy. I take pride in making sure the space feels like home, clean, comfortable, and respectful of each resident's needs and dignity.
