I currently work as a full-time childcare provider for a wonderful family with two toddlers. My role includes caring for the children’s daily needs, such as meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and running errands like grocery shopping. I also spend a lot of time outdoors with the kids, organizing outings that support their physical and cognitive development. I follow Dr. Becky’s parenting style, focusing on gentle guidance, emotional validation, and fostering a nurturing environment where the children can thrive. I prioritize activities that stimulate their curiosity and encourage learning in a fun, age-appropriate way. Every day, I aim to create a positive, supportive atmosphere that helps both the kids and the family flourish.

I worked with premature babies on a premature ward level 3 ( intake weight 1500 grams and at least 32+0 weeks of pregnancy) in a small hospital in Germany. The ward has 13 beds for newborns and premature babies, including 6 intensive care beds. My main tasks were first aid in the delivery room/ gynecological operation room for newborns with adjustment disorders and premature babies. My duties also included monitoring vital parameters, feeding and administering medication, maintaining intravenous access and administering medication through these, and providing routine care for the young patients every 3 to 4 hours (temperature checks, changing diapers and feeding). A large part of my work involved integrating the parents in the care of the children as early as possible and supporting them as best I could during this time. Instructing the baby on bathing, changing diapers, caring for the baby in the incubator, and assisting with breast and bottle feeding are just a few of the many tasks that made my daily work unique.
