My name is Amy and I am a 33-year-old professional with a dynamic background spanning childcare, executive support, sales, and aesthetics. I thrive in fast-paced environments where organization, time management, and a positive attitude are key. I’ve worked in two very different family homes, each giving me unique skills and insights. In one, I managed a large, professional household, serving as both a nanny and executive assistant. My responsibilities included managing the homeowner’s schedule, caring for his children, maintaining a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom home with an indoor pool, preparing meals, and handling all laundry and housekeeping duties—tasks previously done by multiple staff. In contrast, my role in a smaller family home required me to focus on creating a safe and nurturing environment for two young children. There, I used eco-friendly, child-safe products, stayed on top of constant tidying and organization, prepared meals, did laundry, and drove the children to appointments. These roles taught me how to balance flexibility with structure, anticipate needs before they arise, and maintain both professionalism and warmth in family settings. My earlier experiences in sales and aesthetics also sharpened my communication skills, client care, and attention to detail. Outside of work, I’m passionate about staying active and adventurous. Horseback riding gives me a sense of freedom and focus, while ice hockey fuels my competitive and team-oriented side. Both hobbies reflect my drive, discipline, and ability to thrive in different environments. I have had two jobs prior working in 2 family homes. This required me to do a lot of cleaning I had to maintain the home as well as schedules. Both were very different experiences. I worked in a very professional home where I was also an assistant to the home owner. This required me to manage his schedule, take care of his children, maintain his home and cook meals. As well as do all the laundry. He had a very large home, 5 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms as well as an indoor pool and a very large indoor outdoor space. Before he brought me to work for him he had 2 maids come in once a week to clean, I took over these duties. The other home was a small family home with 2 small children, it was different because I had to be constantly cleaning after the kids. A lot more clutter and I used child safe products and eco friendly products. They were more strict in the products I was using because of the children. I also cooked, and did laundry and drove kids to appointments.
