The following has been a typical cleaning schedule for me, in order to maintain my own space clean and tidy -> Everyday: air the beddings and make the bed. Wash the dishes and clean the kitchen sink (the sink is left empty and clean from the previous night, 8/10 times), wipe the kitchen counter and the dinning table as many times as needed during the day. Fold and hang clothes. Clean the toilet. Extra on Tuesday night: take out the trash, wash the bin for the organics (the bin for the general waste usually has dry non-smelly garbage, so it gets cleaned as soon as it's needed) and put new garbage bags. Extras on Wednesday: sweep the floor, change all the towels in the washroom and kitchen (of course they are changed more frequently if needed, but that's the main routine), do laundry. Extras on Saturday: sweep and mop the floor, sweep the entrance rug, clean door handles, wipe mirrors and windows, deep clean the washroom (sink, toilet in and out, shower), do laundry, change all towels in the kitchen and washroom, wash all beddings and apply clean ones. The pillow case is changed at least 2 times per week. Every 1-2 weeks, as needed: clean thoroughly the inner of the fridge (take out shelves and wash them in the sink with dish soap on a sponge + clean all the surfaces with some dish soap on a cloth, then wipe with another clean damp cloth and with towel paper in the end). Everyday I make sure there are no spoiled foods in there and no stains. I also keep it fresh having a cup of baking soda to absorb any smell. Last but not least, I have separate sponges and cloths for every single different use: For example, the dishes, the kitchen sink, the fridge, the washroom sink. I clean the toilet seat, cover and the rest of the exterior surface only with towel paper, since that's the most hygienic option in my opinion. Every 2-3 weeks, as needed: I machine wash the couch cover and couch pillow cases and the living room carpet which is machine washable. The small kitchen rug is washed more frequently as needed. Aaand that's how I keep my house clean ✨️💁🏻‍♀️😌 I don't have paid experience as a cleaner (although two of my jobs included cleaning as a duty), but honestly, many times people have commented my attention to detail and my striving for perfection, both generally and concerning cleaning. It might sound strange but I enjoy taking something dirty and making it look shiny and beautiful, like it's brand new! And of course I take pride in maintaining my own space clean, tidy and cozy:)
