Celine B.
I’m Céline! Nice to meet you! Before becoming a literature, arts, and philosophy teacher, I’m first and foremost a parent, a mother too. I started at the age of 14 as a babysitter, taking care of a two-year-old girl named Roxane W. and a small baby named Samuel for three years. At the age of 17, I worked in a civilian hospital in France among elderly people, assisting with tasks such as handling their toiletries, serving food, and helping with travel. After that, I spent four years at university, where I was valedictorian of my class for three years, all while continuing to work as a babysitter. Following my university studies, I started my own business, an artistic educational workshop called "Le Paradis des Enfants" (and adults) in France. This workshop offered visual arts lessons, French lessons, puppet theater shows, and professional performances in schools and hospitals for children. Additionally, there were custom couture creation workshops, music lessons (piano, violin, guitar, organs, digital videos), and workshops for wood and metal creations (I am a trained welder/assembler). After 4 p.m., the workshop also provided daycare services and homework help, as well as assistance for single-parent families, among other services. Since moving to Québec, Montréal, I have worked as a French tutor and have provided assistance to the elderly in a CIUSS. I remain at your disposal for any questions and I look forward to meeting you.
