My name is Flora and I’m a passionate, responsible and dedicated student originally from Toronto. I’m currently living in Montréal and looking for full or part time work before resuming my studies next year. The most important values in my approach to work are integrity, attention to detail and committing to always bringing my best. Especially when my responsibilities include being trusted to care for someone’s home, children or personal spaces and belongings. Some of the jobs I’ve had in the last few years include working as a full and part time childcare provider and housekeeper for a number of wonderful families, serving food and taking care of guests at a restaurant and also working at a community center and food bank where I had responsibilities including event planning and keeping the building clean, organized and running smoothly. All of these positions have given me experience with time management, cooking healthy meals, food and kitchen safety, and various cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities in both private homes and public establishments. Before my move to Montréal I was pursuing my bachelors in fine arts at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, and as an artist I love tackling any kind of hands-on project. I’m always looking for interesting art, crafting, and home improvement ideas or new skills to master. When I’m not picking up new art mediums, I often spend my time exploring the city, finding new recipes to try, or working through my reading list. English is my first language, and I’m still in the process of improving my French fluency. I've worked as a babysitter/nanny/housekeeper for around seven years now, so I have lots of experience with household chores, cooking, meal prep, organization and deep cleaning in private homes. I've also worked as a server and community center worker so I've gotten experience cleaning and caring for larger and more public facing spaces. I would consider myself very goal-focused, detail oriented, good at time management and multitasking. One of my favourite things is being able to check off the last box on my to-do list as I look around at a freshly cleaned space.
