My name is Mariana, and I am a 28-year-old dedicated and hardworking English Master's student in McGill University. I’m seeking a part-time position as a housekeeper, maid/cleaner or personal assistant. I am available throughout the week and during any time of the day. In my previous roles in both domestic and cultural settings, I have demonstrated my ability to manage a variety of tasks. My responsibilities have ranged from event preparation and volunteer coordination to direct guest interaction and support. These experiences have honed my time management, multitasking, and anticipatory skills which I consider to be directly applicable to household support work. Creating an organized, cleanly environment is something I take great pride in. I enjoy making sure spaces run smoothly and that every corner of a home is tidy. In addition to cleaning inside and outside of fridges, ovens, cupboards, dishwashers and more, I can take care of laundry, changing bed linens, and clearing out expired pantry items, as well as seasonal wardrobe organization. More than just a housekeeper, I take responsibility for the overall wellbeing of the household. I can assist in meal preparation, including cooking and serving for special events. I'm also adept at handling household finances, paying bills, making travel arrangements and hiring plus supervising other staff members. I'm more than happy to execute household errands such as grocery shopping, pet care, and plant care. You can also trust me with maintaining household security, house sitting, and overseeing special events. I also don't mind performing outside cleaning tasks such as cleaning the outside of an oven, fridge, and dishwasher, plus ironing. Fluent in English, French, and Spanish, I am comfortable communicating with diverse groups of people. I am more than willing to obtain a police check for your peace of mind, both from my country of origin and from Canada where I permanently reside. I do not have experience that is specific to housecleaning. However, in my previous job as Events Assistant, I did have to ensure the cleanliness of our events space before and after the function. I love cooking, cleaning, and organizing to unwind. I am very attentive to detail and feel great satisfaction in active and dynamic activities!
