I am Jasbir Kaur from India. I completed my senior secondary education in my home country in 2018-2019. In 2020-2021, I pursued a diploma in Computer Applications. Currently, I am studying Early Childhood Education (AEC) at LaSalle College in Montreal, QC. Alongside my studies, I have gained valuable work experience.I worked as a Packing Operator at Ssence in Montreal from February to September 2023, where I was responsible for sealing, packing, labeling, and preparing materials for shipping. Later, I worked as a Packer/Warehouse Associate at Amazon Fulfillment Centre in Lachine, QC, from October 2023 to March 2024, where I efficiently packed, labeled, and scanned items for timely delivery. I enjoy learning new things and expanding my skills. Throughout my studies in Early Childhood Education at LaSalle College, I have gained diverse and valuable hands-on experience working with various age groups in different childcare settings. My experiences have ranged from infants to toddlers, where I supported their developmental milestones and provided individualized care in a nurturing environment. As part of my second stage at CPE La Mère l’Oie, I have gained valuable hands-on experience working with infants between the ages of 6 months and 18 months. In this role, I am responsible for supporting the developmental milestones of infants, including motor skills, sensory exploration, and early language development.I create a safe and stimulating environment for the children, monitor their progress, and assist with daily routines, all while ensuring individualized care and attention. This experience has deepened my understanding of infant development and further developed my skills in providing nurturing, responsive care in an early childhood education setting. CPE Les Petits Explorations - Montréal, QC September 2024 to December 2024 During my first stage at CPE Les Petits Exploration, I worked with toddlers aged 2 to 3 years. I helped support their development through play, social activities, and daily routines like mealtime and naps. My focus was on encouraging communication, social skills, and independence in a safe and engaging environment. Garderie Lumineuses énigmes - Montréal, QC May 2024 to September 2024 During my summer break from college, I worked at Garderie Lumineuses Énigmes in Montreal from May to September, where I cared for infants aged 5 months to 2 years. I provided daily care, supported developmental milestones, and engaged the children in age-appropriate activities to encourage sensory exploration, motor skills, and early communication. I also assisted with routine tasks such as feeding, napping, and maintaining a safe environment for the children.
