My name is Helena and I'm from the London, UK. I've just finished my degree in History and Politics, and have moved back to Montreal (where I lived in 2022-23 doing an exchange year at Concordia). - I'm looking for work to fund my time here in Montreal, and I'm therefore very flexible in both my time and the responsibilities I'm willing to take on! During the previous two summers I have lived on Cortes Island, BC, where I have worked as a housekeeper both commercially and privately. This gave me a range of experience including: airbnb and hotel turnovers, private household deep cleans and garden maintenance. I also have lots of experience in childcare, tutoring and pet care, and would be keen to help with any tasks in these areas if needed. I have been working in private childcare for seven years, and I am a member of a British youth movement called LJY Netzer in which I volunteer leading children's summer camps from the ages of 7-15. I have provided private tutoring for young people completing their UK high school exams in psychology, history and english. I have worked privately in pet care doing: dog walking and pet sitting for cats and dogs (as a pet owner and animal lover, I'm happy to look after any pets). I love to garden, and during my exchange at Concordia I worked at the university greenhouse. Since then, I have continued to develop my knowledge in sustainable food production and horticulture.
