Xavier P.
Growing up, I had the unique privilege of being the sibling of a brother with special needs. Due to his needs, my parents often found themselves overwhelmed with responsibilities, their hands consistently full. As a result, they regularly relied on me to assist with various tasks that were within my capacity. This was a formative experience for me, as it instilled a strong sense of responsibility and capability within me from a young age. At home, I found myself proactively taking on most of the chores, whether it was cleaning, cooking, or doing laundry. I took the lead in maintaining a clean and orderly living space, a habit that persisted into my adulthood. When I eventually moved out and secured my own apartment, my desire to maintain a neat and orderly home remained unchanged. In terms of acquiring professional experience, one of my earliest positions was caring for an individual with special needs. Similar to my experience with my brother, this job entailed numerous tasks centered around maintaining cleanliness and order in the person's living environment. Duties ranged from doing laundry and washing dishes to cleaning various rooms around the house. Moreover, my work history is peppered with numerous cleaning jobs across various industries. I've invested hours in meticulous cleaning at restaurants, where I was not only tasked with cooking and preparing the food, but also ensuring that the highest levels of hygiene are consistently maintained. I've also worked in fitness gyms where frequently used equipment and spaces required careful attention to cleanliness, crucial for members' health and satisfaction. I even took up jobs on public buses, a demanding role that required strict adherence to sanitary standards for public safety. Consequently, it's evident that my personal and professional life have been significantly shaped by these experiences, qualifying me extensively for roles related to cleanliness and sanitation.
I did housekeeping while also helping take care of a handicapped patient.
