I'm Mackenzie, and while I'm just getting started offering housekeeping services professionally, I do have cleaning experience and genuinely enjoy this type of work. A little about me—I'm friendly, approachable, dependable, and someone who genuinely enjoys helping others. I currently work full-time as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) while completing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) part-time online to become a Registered Nurse (RN). I've balanced full-time nursing with school for the past 3½ years, but I'm looking for more flexible work while I finish my degree and complete my clinical placements. Growing up, I helped my grandmother clean cottages between guests, along with regular clients' homes and office buildings. I also grew up in a home where my mom took a lot of pride in keeping everything clean and organized, and I definitely inherited that trait! I always joke that everything has a place. I love organizing, decluttering, and creating spaces that feel clean, functional, and less overwhelming. One of my biggest projects recently was helping my grandmother downsize from her large three-storey farmhouse into a one-bedroom apartment. I loved sorting through everything, organizing, donating items, and making her new home comfortable and efficient. I also enjoy running errands, grocery shopping, meal prep, and helping manage the day-to-day tasks that make life easier for others. When I'm not working or studying, you'll usually find me reading a good book, doing yoga, relaxing at the spa, out on the trails with my side-by-side or ATV, gardening, or spending time with my family and our dog. I enjoy vacationing and travelling. I also live on my own, so I understand how much work goes into keeping a home clean, organized, and running smoothly. I truly enjoy creating spaces that feel peaceful, functional, and welcoming. I'm dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and have my own reliable vehicle.
