I am an experienced caregiver for seniors. I have worked with an elderly woman suffering from various conditions, including Parkinson’s Disease and early signs of Dementia. I essentially provided full assistance, as she required one-on-one care. In addition to this, I also cared for seniors at Humber River Hospital and Aspira Kensington Retirement Living during my internship. I am a graduate of the PSW Program from Centennial College and am a certified First Aider proficient in performing CPR. I also possess certifications in Food Safety and the Gentle Persuasive Approach. Although I do not have extensive formal experience in childcare, I have cared for my nephews and nieces as they've grown up, which has given me practical childcare experience. In addition to my hands-on experience, I am always open to learning and receiving training. My employers have commended me for being a quick learner, so I am confident that I can acquire new knowledge, especially in childcare, with ease.
