Personal Care Assistance Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and other personal care needs. Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs, walking, and other movement-related needs. Provide support with toileting, including changing incontinence products and assisting with cleaning. Medication Assistance Record and monitor residents' responses to medications and report any adverse effects or health changes to nursing staff. Help prepare, serve, and feed residents as needed, ensuring they maintain proper nutrition. Dietary Monitoring: Follow dietary guidelines and restrictions, assisting residents in adhering to personalized meal plans. Hydration: Monitor residents’ fluid intake to ensure they stay hydrated. Emotional and Social Support Spend time engaging with residents in conversation, providing emotional support and companionship. Housekeeping and Environment Maintenance Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in residents’ rooms, including changing bedding, organizing personal belongings, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with washing, folding, and putting away residents’ clothing and linens. Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate if trained to do so. Follow safety protocols to prevent falls and injuries, using gait belts, walkers, or other assistive devices as needed. Maintain accurate records for each resident's health and activity and report any concerns to supervisory staff.
