I graduated high school in a small town in Saskatchewan and then moved to Saskatoon to attend hair school. I’ve been working as a hairstylist since 2018, though I took a one-year break to explore other interests. During that time, I worked part-time at a private elderly home and also in a nanny position. In high school, I also cleaned shacks at a gas plant, which I found to be a great form of therapy. After my break, I returned to hairstyling, moved to Edmonton, and started a family. Now, as a full-time stay-at-home mom to three kids (ages 1, 2, and 5), I also help run an electrical and contracting business with my partner. I’m now looking for a side gig to earn some extra spending money.
