Throughout my 8 years in the Housekeeping industry, I have accumulated a wealth of experience, making me a great candidate for various tasks. I have worked as a Hotel Laundry Attendant at the Renaissance Airport, a Porter/Cleaner at the Edmonton Outlet Mall, and a Housekeeping Room Attendant at the Holiday Inn Hotel chains in Nisku and Downtown. These experiences have allowed me to gain a level of expertise in the industry that is rare to find.

Hotel Laundry Attendant (Renaissance Airport): Collect, sort, and transport laundry at the beginning of each shift. Remove laundry from dryers, iron, and fold immediately to prevent wrinkling. Stock linen supply room with clean linens for use the next day. Laundry includes bed linens, blankets, duvets/comforters, towels, face cloths, and restaurant table linens. At the end of the day, all cleaning cloths will be washed, dried, and folded for housekeeping needs. Clean public and ambassador washrooms, replenish supplies. Clean ambassador lunchroom and change rooms. Porter/Cleaner (Edmonton Outlet Mall) for Best Service Pros: Stock up cart with paper supplies, chemicals, and cleaning equipment. Dust and spot wipe all elevators, escalators, stairs, benches, and bins. Vacuum carpets in the entrance ways to the mall. Dust mop floors. Wet mop any spills or high-traffic areas. Pick up garbage. Monitor washrooms to ensure they are clean and well stocked with supplies. Place trash in the trash compactor. Housekeeping Room Attendant (Holidays Inn Hotel - Downtown) Deliver cribs, cots, bedding, and kitchen items to guest rooms as requested. Move furniture and furnishings as requested. Respond to guests and staff inquiries and requests. Ensure each floor has sufficient stocks of linens, amenity supplies, and other housekeeping supplies for the next day’s shift. Gather soiled linen, sort, and load machines. Ensure sidewalks and the perimeter of the building are cleaned daily. Ensure all maintenance and safety hazards are promptly reported to the Supervisor/Manager to minimize hazard risk.
