My name is Aileen and I am a proud Filipino/Canadian citizen, having been residing here for 25 fruitful years in the beautiful province of Quebec. I first stepped foot in Canada working as a nanny and housekeeper, roles which taught me invaluable skills and responsibilities that I carry with me today. Over the years, I have expanded my horizons and worked in a myriad of fields extending beyond basic housekeeping. These range from childcare to the responsible and compassionate elderly care. My duties in these roles have been wide-reaching and diverse. Dealing with the busy, yet rewarding demands of childcare, I learned to balance individual care needs with group dynamics. Working in elderly care, I harboured sensitivity and understanding, nurturing an environment that promoted their independence and respect. Furthermore, beyond my hands-on experiences, I am a certified First Aider, Personal Support Worker and a Personal Assistance Behaviour specialist. This ensures that I am equipped to deal with a range of scenarios with a professional and calm demeanor while providing the best possible care. I have had the rewarding experience of working in a private residence and have, to date, been vaccinated five times. My diligence and commitment to safety have always been of utmost importance, significantly now more than ever due to the current global circumstances.
