My name is Monica!! A bit about me: I am a reliable and dedicated individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized environment. I don't drink alcohol nor smoke. I'm pride myself in being hard-working, easy-going, organized, respectful, and trustworthy. I grew up with five siblings (yes, FIVE!) in Lagos, Nigeria with me being the 5th child. I've been in Canada for a couple of years and initially started babysitting/housekeeping as a way to earn extra income whilst in school. I quickly realised that I very much enjoyed what I did. I absolutely love spending time with kids and bringing smiles to their faces. In my free time, I enjoy baking and cooking. I'm a fantastic cook!!! I've been told by so many people I've lost count. I’m fluent in English but also know a bit of French. I’m a patient person who enjoys learning and having fun along the way! Apart from working as a housekeeper and babysitter on the side, throughout my time in Calgary I have also gained valuable experience working across various industries and this has enabled me amass skills and expertise in quite a number of fields. I've worked at two grocery stores, a number of restaurants and also at Calgary Stampede! Which was definitely the most challenging job I've had till date. I also worked at a salad making company which was located in a warehouse. I've always worked with other people thus I have great interpersonal skills. Each of these roles have contributed to my versatile skill set and I have cultivated a rich tapestry of skills and interests that I am eager to bring to any opportunity that comes my way. My goal is to provide exceptional service and maintain a clean and organized space for your satisfaction. I am open to working in different environments and ideally, I prefer a live-out arrangement and occasional/as-needed work terms due to me being in school. Though, my classes are online so there is a lot of flexibility. Above all, I am committed to making clients and visitors feel at ease and welcome. I think that having a tidy and orderly space enhances happiness and general well-being. I am eager to join your team, contribute my abilities and upbeat mentality, and help you keep your home tidy and organized to the highest standards.

I have done housekeeping for individuals and families, but more importantly, I have also worked at both Freshco and Superstore for several months where I regularly cleaned the store, mopped, and swept the floors. I also worked in several fast-food restaurants where it was necessary for us, the workers, to make sure the store was always tidy and neat to impress customers and prevent cross-contamination. In addition to mopping and sweeping, I threw out expired foods, kept leftovers in the fridge, did the dishes, and laundry. Thus, keeping a place neat and tidy is something I have a lot of experience in.
