Paula K.
I’m Paula, originally from Germany, and I moved to Montréal seven months ago to join my fiancé in his hometown. I’ve held a clean driver’s license since 2014 and grew up sharing long-haul drives across Europe during my competitive-swimming years—learning route planning, traffic navigation and proactive vehicle care. I’ve driven my two nephews—now ten and eight—for weekend outings and to meet up with my brother, which has taught me to stay calm, patient and alert behind the wheel. I’m naturally punctual (much to my fiancé’s amusement—and occasional dismay, since his approach to time is more relaxed), bilingual in German and English while working on my French, and certified in first aid and CPR. In my downtime you’ll find me crocheting tiny animal figures (friends and family inevitably “adopt” them) or practising banjo.
I’ve held a driver’s license since 2014 and since then never had an accident. As a competitive swimmer, I regularly drove long hauls across Europe sharing the wheel on multi-hour trips. Those drives taught me efficient route planning, constant vigilance.
