Sandes S.
I am originally from Nepal and have nearly 10 years of driving experience on Nepalese roads, which has made me highly adaptable and confident in various driving conditions. Since moving to Canada, I have gained valuable experience driving under Canada’s well-structured traffic system, improving my road safety and winter driving skills. Currently, I work at IKEA, where I have completed various safety-related training and courses, further enhancing my awareness of workplace and road safety. Beyond driving, I have always enjoyed working with and caring for children. Having spent time with my younger siblings and cousins, I have developed patience, responsibility, and the ability to connect with kids easily. These experiences have given me confidence in taking care of children and creating a safe and comfortable environment for them. Over the past year, driving in Canada has been an incredibly smooth and organized experience. The country’s well-structured traffic system, strict enforcement of rules, and excellent road conditions make driving safe and enjoyable. Unlike in some places where traffic can be chaotic, Canadian roads maintain order and discipline. The clear and standardized road signs make navigation easy, while synchronized traffic lights help reduce congestion. Canada also emphasizes pedestrian and cyclist safety, requiring drivers to stop at crosswalks and respect bike lanes. Strict laws against distracted and impaired driving ensure safer roads. Though winter driving was initially challenging, the efficient road maintenance system, including snowplowing and salting, makes it manageable. Highway driving is particularly enjoyable, thanks to smooth roads, wide lanes, and proper signage. Looking back, I appreciate Canada’s strict regulations and well-planned infrastructure, which have made my driving experience both safe and enjoyable. My combined experience in driving, safety training, and caring for children makes me a responsible and dependable individual in both personal and professional settings.
