Job Description:
We are seeking a responsible and compassionate Punjabi-speaking driver to assist with errands and transportation for our elderly parents(Age: 62, 67). The ideal candidate will provide safe and reliable transportation, ensuring the well-being and comfort of our parents during their daily activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Safely transport our elderly parents to various errands, appointments, and activities.
3. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, ensuring it is safe and comfortable for our parents.
4. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure a safe driving experience.
5. Monitor and adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion and ensure timely arrival.
6. Communicate effectively with our parents to provide a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
7. Maintain a respectful and patient demeanor when dealing with elderly individuals.
8. Assist with loading and unloading groceries or other items as required.
9. Keep track of appointments and schedules to ensure punctuality.
10. Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements:
1. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
2. Fluent in Punjabi to effectively communicate with our parents.
3. Empathetic and patient personality to provide a supportive environment.
4. Prior experience in caregiving, driving for seniors, or a similar role is a plus.
5. Strong knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
6. Ability to lift and carry groceries or assist with mobility aids.
7. Reliable and punctual with a flexible schedule to accommodate appointments.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. A compassionate and caring attitude towards elderly individuals.
