I'm currently seeking a kind and patient individual to assist with school pickups for my 9-year-old son. Living in Edmonton, we are situated in the charming Rutherford area, and unfortunately, there is no available bus service from my son's school. As such, I find myself in need of a responsible person to ensure he gets home safely to our nanny while I'm at work. The task is quite simple and straightforward, requiring roughly 15 minutes of your time to travel from Riverbend to our home in Rutherford. I'm specifically looking for a school transportation driver or a family driver who might also cater to special needs if required. (Meaning he needs a a patient and calm person.) This is a full-time position, although the workload is rather minimal - less than 20 hours per week. Ideally, the pickup times would fall in the middle of the day from Monday through to Friday. The candidate must have a personal vehicle that is regularly maintained and safe for transporting a child. Consistency is key here, as my top priority is my son's safety. I absolutely require someone reliable, diligent, calm and patient. By becoming a part of our day-to-day life, you will help to ensure the smooth running of our household and my son’s well-being. Background check, references and valid drivers license are required. A fair compensation package will be provided. For a frame of reference, an Uber ride from the school to our home costs approximately $18 per trip. The position is vacant, and the preferred start date is immediate.
