My name is Irene and I am a devoted cook with a deep love for extraordinary food and creating wonderful dishes. With more than a decade of experience in the food and hospitality industry, I've honed my skills both within restaurant settings and as a sales representative for a well-known food distribution company. As a passionate foodie, I delight in cooking painstakingly created meals. This passion extends to family-oriented cooking, particularly utilizing healthy, wholesome recipes inherited from my parents, straight from our quaint village in Greece. I am comfortable working part time and am available during weekdays, mainly during midday and evenings. I bring a vast range of experience to the table, whether it is serving as a private cook, a chef for events, or a camp cook. You can rely on me for a range of cook duties - from cooking children's meals and keeping the kitchen spick and span, to orchestrating food for events, supervising kitchen staff, and even procuring products. My special skills include a deep knowledge of modern cooking technology, strict sanitary and hygienic standards, management experience, and a forte in barbecuing. I was a line cook at Cozmos Souvlaki on Greenbank for over 10 years. It’s a fast paced takeout spot. Greek Mediterranean cuisine. I eventually started training new employees and became store manager. Responsible for rotating through ingredients, ordering, inventory control, customer service, and much more.
