While I have a passion for preparing food, my real calling is helping others. With a background in childcare, disability assistance and care for seniors, I see cooking as another form of care I can provide for families and individuals to improve their daily experience. That being said, the most important role I see myself as having is fulfilling the needs of my clients to the best of my ability, which takes a lot of communication, flexibility and attentiveness. I cook mainly vegetarian food (though I'm very comfortable preparing fish) and love to work with nutritious, balanced, healthful foods. I believe what we eat is one of the most important determinants of our overall health, and therefore put the utmost thought into what goes into a client's food. Most importantly, I make really, really yummy food!
I've been exploring the culinary arts since I was little and joining my dad at the restaurant or in the kitchen at home. I started cooking professionally first through my experience supporting families with childcare and housekeeping for several years before moving on to providing meal planning, prep and delivery services in Montreal. I'm just as happy to cook in my own kitchen and bring the food to my clients as I am to work directly in their kitchens - I'm happy in general whenever I'm cooking!
