Companion for high functioning woman with early onset Alzheimer’s

TA
Active: More than a month ago

We are seeking a companion for our mother with early onset Alzheimer’s. The ideal candidate is open to live in care in the near future but it is not required immediately. No medical care is currently required with the exception of monitoring daily medication use. She is still very functional (for example she still walks up to the store herself on a daily basis for a few groceries) but cannot live alone. Primary goal would be life enrichment activities, such as fitness classes, engaging her in the kitchen with baking and cooking, and facilitating friend coffee dates. The ideal candidate has experience with dementia or Alzheimer’ and gentle persuasion.
