We are a family seeking a compassionate individual to serve as a companion to our 97-year old Mother, who currently resides in a nursing home. The role will be part-time, requiring less than 20 hours per week. The primary schedule for the position will be in the evening hours, approximately from 5:30 to 7:30, Monday through Sunday. An ideal candidate for this position will be someone who has experience or is willing to work with individuals affected by Dementia and Alzheimer's. The primary responsibility will be to supervise the home environment during the scheduled hours, ensuring our Mother’s needs are attended to with the utmost sensitivity and kindness. Please note that this is a live-out position, and a driver's license is not required, as automobile use is not applicable for the role. We prefer the selected individual to start immediately.
