SENIOR CAREGIVER AND COMPANION We are seeking a senior caregiver to go into Glenwarren Lodge in Victoria for a couple of hours in the morning. If certain days are unavailable or if 3-4 hours every 3 days per week work better, we are flexible. Pay is $20 to $25 per hour based on experience. We need someone to get to know a 77 year old senior with early mild dementia and depression. She is strong-willed, opinionated, and outspoken. Our end goal is to see she gets up, washed, dressed, gets in her chair, does some exercises and socializes. Toileting, bed changes, laundry, food prep, etc. are handled by the residence staff. Currently, she is bed ridden but really no physical reason for this. The family all live in Ontario and are desperate for our aunt to regain some quality of life. 2 hour/5 days/week. Flexible on hours and days. $20 -$25 /hour. Must have experience with seniors, patient lifting, bathing, dressing, exercises, companionship. Qualifications/experience: - have previous experience with seniors - patient but not a push over, confident and firm - heavy patient lifting & transfer - bathing, grooming and dressing assistance - some knowledge of dementia and mental health - have 2 referrals
