76 yr old widower who has begun to struggle with short term memory issues yet remains very independent and able to do most housekeeping chores. Mid stage of dementia/Alzheimer's. Looking for a caregiver to provide company and assist with light housekeeping. Must be able to cook a hot dinner. Be willing to accompany to medical, dental, shopping, hair appts, etc. Must have good communication w family members and be reliable and responsible. A good sense of humour would also help. I am looking to have a caregiver basically to keep mom engaged and distracted from fixating on concerns, bills, etc. We are a great family in need of assistance. We can provide great living space for you, downtime, weekends off and will respect your privacy and will also be flexible if you need to take time off for your own appts. We will be very kind and appreciative of the care you provide and treat you like family. Monthly salary is negotiable. Again you will have your own semi private basement apt and all food will be provided. Looking for female only care giver 20-60yrs old. If able to speak Italian would be a bonus.
