I'm looking to hire a female, non-smoking, English-speaking, live-in caregiver for my 80-year-old mother. This position will require the caregiver to live with my mother and stay overnight for 5-6 days. Wages are based on a daily rate. My mother is visually impaired but still can perform personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, brushing her teeth, etc. However, she will require the caregiver to oversee these tasks. In addition, the following duties are required: -Meal preparations - breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks -housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, bathrooms) -Assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming -Assistance with walking -Laundry -Dishwashing -any additional duties that may be required. Compensation is paid at a daily rate.

I am in need of a full-time caregiver for an elderly person, with a preferred start date of January 13, 2025. This live-out position requires a dedicated and compassionate individual who can provide comprehensive care and assistance in day-to-day activities. A typical work schedule will include mornings and midday assistance from Monday to Friday with the total working hours at 30 hours per week. The job responsibilities are varied and extensive. They will primarily involve assistance with daily personal tasks such as toileting, bathing including bed baths, and assisting with walking. Dressing and grooming care will also be a significant portion of the caregiver's duties. The caregiver will also be responsible for more specialized care including catheter care. Additionally, the responsibilities extend to meal planning and preparation as well as housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and comfortable living environment. Preferably, the caregiver should be familiar with conditions such as osteoporosis, arthritis and incontinence and be comfortable assisting an individual who has had a hip fracture. This job does not require a driver's license and automobile use is not applicable. The main goal of this position is to ensure the safety, comfort and dignity of the elderly individual in your care. Our elderly parents are in need of the compassionate and consistent assistance of a female caregiver with specialized experience in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. This role involves living with and caring for an 85- and 90-year-old couple, therefore, a loving nature and a minimum of 5 years of experience in senior healthcare are imperative. The role will call for full-time assistance through the week, with shifts covering mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights. Both parents are mobile, although recent circumstances have left our mother requiring some support for walking, sitting, and moving in and out of bed. The caregiver’s responsibilities will also include assisting with basic necessities such as toileting, grooming, getting dressed and preparing for bed. The caregiver will be tasked with maintaining a clean bathroom environment, accompanying on doctor appointments. Range of motion exercises form part of the care package, as does assistance with bathing and toileting. Skills in dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia are vital, as well as the capability to work with incontinence. A driver's license is not a requirement for this position, nor is there a need for the caregiver to use an automobile as part of their duties. Our primary goal for this position is to help our parents live out their golden years in the comfort of their own home, surrounded by familiar surroundings and loving family members. The starting date for this position is flexible over the next month or 2. We are looking for overnight help for my grandma. She is 92 years old. She has had several strokes and has mobility issues. She can walk, but needs assistance in doing so. We require someone to support her for overnight care, as she wakes up several times throughout the night. Sometimes needing to go to the washroom, or for water. We require assistance so that she doesn't get out of bed on her own/ have any falls. She also calls out loudly throughout the night which wakes up the members of the household who have to work in the morning/ day. Ideally, you would be able to remind her that it is night time and help her go back to sleep or attend to any issue that she has. She currently sleeps on a daybed in the living room on the main floor. The bathroom is down a set of stairs with 6 steps. Ideally, your shift would be from 8PM-8AM to help with putting her to bed, and getting her up in the morning. This may require you giving her some of her medication and a meal that would be prepared in advance (for dinner), but will require you to make a light breakfast (tea, toast, fruit, etc). She speaks English and has some hearing issues.

He mainly is happy to sit down by the TV, so the care provider will likely spend the majority of their time sitting beside him in the living room.
