We are looking for a caring, strong, experienced and compassionate caregiver to assist a post stroke elderly gentleman. Must haves: -Medication admin certificate or equivalent -Healthcare aid certificate or equivalent -Covid vaccinated -criminal background check Responsibilities: --------------------- * Assistance with getting in and out of bed (using lift) * Medication * Toileting and peri care * Be a pleasant and supportive companion * Report any unusual incidents * Act quickly and responsibly in case of an emergency Must have: --------------- * Proven experience as a Caregiver * Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR) * Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards * Respectful and compassionate * Good time management skills * Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills * Strong ethics * Physical endurance * High school diploma or equivalent
